概述
「全人教育委員會」之下分別成立「通識教育中心」、「語言中心」及「體育室」等三個教學單位,全人教育的組織架構為本校精神核心。「全人教育委員會」的重要目標乃將創新、服務精神轉化為人格之塑造與生命意義之追尋。

三大面向
全人教育的指標為:啟發學生關懷人、社會與環境等三大面向。以倫理為主軸,學生在知識、技能之傳授外,貫徹全人教育的精神,體驗全人教育學習理論。
兩大特色
實踐專業分工:全人教育分為三個層面:跨領域,國際化,體適能,分由「通識教育中心」、「語言中心」及「體育室」規劃課程,督導及研擬學校通識教育發展方向。
專才專用,效益強化:全人教育委員透過溝通協調,讓校內老師有轉換單位的機制,同時邀請對通識的專業系所教師從聘於通識教育中心。

The Holistic Education Committee (HEC) is comprised of three teaching units: General Education Center (GEC), Language Center (LC) and Office of Physical Education (OPE). The organizational structure of Holistic Education (HE) is the core spirituality of NUTC. The important goals of HEC are innovation, the transformation of spirit of service into the building of personality, and the pursuit of the meaning of life.

Three main aspects
The goals of HE are: inspiring students to care about people, society and the environment; implementing the spirit of HE and experiencing the learning theory of
HE, beyond the teaching of knowledge and skill to students, based on ethics.

Two major characteristics The practice of the professional division of labor: HEC is divided into three levels, interdiscipline, internationalization and physical fitness. GEC, LC and OPE arrange courses of HE, supervise and draw up the development direction of General Education.

The professionals with special purpose to strengthen effectiveness:The HEC members let school teachers have the mechanism to transfer to different personnel department through communication and coordination ; meanwhile, HEC members invite the experts of General Education to work for GEC.

教育目標與特色
一、通識教育的目標,奠定於立型人才的基石與創新服務的精神下,培育學生具備立身行己、立人達人、立地書櫥等三大主軸能力。
二、培育理論與實務並重,人文與科技兼修,具有豐富創新研發能力的人才為目標。
三、配合本校特色、學生需求、社會趨勢、現代思潮,設計一套融會貫通的課程,讓學生獲得健全人格之素養,培養學生體認自我與整體社會互動及服務精神之生命特質。
1. The goals of General Education (GE): Based on establishing the cornerstone of interdisciplinary talents and the spirit of innovative services, GE nurtures students with three main abilities, morality, service, and society.
2. The goals of talents are to cultivate both theory and practice, possess humanity and technology, and have a very innovative ability.
3. The goals of GE are designing the mastery of courses in line with the features of the school, student’s needs, social trends, and modern thought. The courses let students get a healthy personality and train students to have the qualities of life to recognize themselves, interact with the whole society and serve the community.

教育目標與特色
語言中心自99學年度起建立全校性英文能力畢業門檻,以提升學生國際化競爭能力;又為協助學生順利通過畢業門檻,定期舉辦英語證照密集訓練課程,及邀請官方檢測機構辦理英語檢測說明會和校內英檢證照測驗,提高全校學生參加英語檢定考試率和證照數,以提升全校學生職場英語競爭能力。
為營造優質英語學習環境,語言中心定期舉辦英日電影欣賞講座、外語多元競賽、職場面試比賽及外語門診等不同面向之外語活動,期望藉由多元外語學習管道,建立優質外語學習環境,拓展全校學生學習領域和眼界,以符合教育部強化國際競爭力的訴求和全面推動國際化的政策。
未來,為順應國際情勢,配合政府重要施政方針,落實學校校務發展計畫,語言中心將致力於創造雙E(English + Electronics)學習環境,以培育兼具「國際化視野」及「科技創新與營運模式創新」之外語專業人才為主要目標。
The Language Center set English ability as a graduation requirement for our students to improve their international competitiveness from 99 academic year on. To assist students in passing the English proficiency requirement for graduation, we regularly offer the courses for getting English proficiency certificates, invite the official institution to hold the explanation session for English proficiency tests, and hold English proficiency tests on campus. In these ways, students should be more competitive in their future career since it is of high possibility for them to pass English proficiency tests and to get the certificates.
In order to create good English learning environment, we regularly hold various activities about foreign languages, such as English/Japanese movie lectures, foreign languages contests, job interview contests, and foreign languages diagnoses. By means of such multiple learning, we hope to broaden students’ horizon and learning, which conforms to the policies of the Ministry of Education—strengthening international competitiveness and globalization.
In the future, to be in tune with the international situation, to follow the government’s policies, and to implement the school’s developmental plans, we will be devoted to create EE (English + Electronics) learning environment. Our main goal is to cultivate foreign language professionals who have international views and are creative in technology and operating mode.

教育目標與特色
教育理念
一、在教學方面:本室教育理念是確立以人為本的教育思想,擴展「全人教育」視野;在體育教材多元化與教法活潑化,以培養學生創造思考能力;其次開設課程具樂趣化與配合休閒相關之課程連結,養成學生終身運動的習慣。
二、在競賽方面:培養學生團隊合作能力,建立群性發展的基礎;同時培養學生守法、公平競爭、光明正大,加強運動員精神教育;鼓勵自我奮鬥、自我超越,培養積極進取的意志;培養學習面對挫折,培養正確態度、情緒、價值等情意發展。
重點與特色
一、本室所規劃課程,五專一、二、三年級與大一體育採隨班上課方式實施,課程內容由體育室統一設計編配,教師則依教學場地配當表上排定項目上課。同時課程採多元化設計,並以全面發展學生健康體適能為主要目標。
二、四技二、三年級及五專四、五年級學生為生涯運動。課程依運動項目分類,採電腦選課作業程序實施,學生依自己的興趣喜好與時間,排定欲選擇課程志願順序,由電腦依志願系選擇排課。
三、專項體育共有五大類(球類課程;舞蹈課程;水上運動課程;體能訓練課程;其他課程等)近16類課程提供學生選擇。內容主要著重專項運動基礎技能的培養與訓練,建立良好的健康體能及培養運動的樂趣。
四、博雅通識之運動與健康領域一至四年級;二技學生均可選修。目前共開設13班運動相關理論與實務課程,其深受學生好評與喜愛。
五、開設體育自強班之對象為身體不適參加一般體育課程之學生。
Educational Objectives
1. Teaching: 『People』is the main focus as our educational principle. Our office develops students’ creativity and critical-thinking based on diverse instruments and lively methodology; Furthermore, the ultimate goal is to establish the life-long habits of exercising by connecting the fun and courses together.
2. Athletics: Developing the foundation of team-work, meanwhile, teaching the athletics the concept of commitment, fairness, sportsmanship, and self-transcendence. Moreover, the athletics can learn the attitude of managing stress and frustration, further develop positive life-style.

Characteristics of Academic Development
1. Freshman, sophomore, and junior students in junior college and the course of Freshman Physical Education in four-year college are managed by Office of Physical Education; Teachers take the scheduled courses assigned at designated facilities. The objective of our diverse courses is to develop all-around fitness for students.
2. The courses designed for sophomore and junior students in four-year college and senior students in junior college are Career Physical Development. The courses are categorized by different sports project. Students can select and rank the courses with their best interests and later decided by computerized system.
3. Five Specialized Physical Education Categories: ball games, dance, water sports, physical training, and others. About 16 options for students to select, the detail is to build the basic skills of each sport, establish sound fitness, and develop the interest of exercising.
4. The General Education courses – exercise and health field are designed for all students include students in two-year college. Thus far there are 13 theoretical and practical courses welcomed by students with positive feedbacks.
5. Adapted Physical Education: the courses are designed for students who have not reached the level of regular physical education courses.
